Setting my own Guidelines

I have been thinking this past few days regarding what to do with PinoyDreamer. No, I’m not planning shutting it down, I’m thinking about what appropriate contents this blog will contain. I have made several posts here, and as I evaluate each, I realized that some of those posts doesn’t really fit to be included here in PinoyDreamer. Because of that, I thought of setting some personal guidelines so that I could be guided accordingly to what articles I should right in this blog.

In creating my own guidelines, there are few things I want to consider. One thing is the appropriateness and relevance of my content to my domain name. My domain name is PinoyDreamer, and I believe one will interpret it as a blog about someone’s dreams, or a blog that documents the blogger’s quest in achieving his dream. Ok, I want this blog to live with that expectation. Also, I have classified PinoyDreamer as a personal blog, and I don’t want to change that. I know I have made posts regarding my online money making activities here, and I’m really planning to relocate them. Actually, I’m thinking to create other workbenches for other categories that I want to focus too, and that includes my online money making activities. I’ll be creating separate domains for those interests.

Another thing that I will consider in my guidelines is how comfortable I am in writing each post and in publishing it in this blog. The feel of being personal, I really don’t want that to be taken from my blog. That will separate my blog from the thousand of blogs out there. A way of making it personal is by giving my own views about different issues, whether it be politics, economics, business, blogging issues and many more. But of course, I will not let those articles deviate me from my primary objective, that is, to document my quest towards the attainment of my dreams.

I’m planning to open a niche blog within the week, I hope that works well. Wish me luck!!
