The person behind my first personalized banner is the very talented digital artist named Grace (just an additional info, Grace is one of the owners of a website that sells Himalayan Goji Juice). Would anyone here believe that I got this banner for free? Yes, it was free, and to tell you the truth, I was shocked on how things turned out. In a sense, Grace was actually asking for something in return, and could anyone here guess what it is? Just something we bloggers often sell and give away for free easily.. : )
Honestly, I was very skeptical with the deal that Grace was trying to offer me during those times, but still I ride on the conversation, hoping that it is real. And so the email exchange continued, she asked me what I want to be drawn and some specific details so she can have an idea of what I wanted. Still, I remained skeptical. But when she gave me a copy of the uncolored output, my doubts instantly vanished and what replaced it is an overwhelming excitement. I was so excited that I immediately installed the banner here in my blog even though it has no colored whatsoever. I encountered some problems regarding the codes upon installation, but fortunately, common sense helped me and I successfully embedded the banner. Below is the uncolored version of the banner.
Today, I received the colored version of the banner, and I really loved it for some particular reasons. One reason is that this is the very first time I owned a personal banner ever since I started blogging. I actually tried making my own banners before, but I hate to admit it, it all ended up in the Recycle Bin. Another reason is that this banner is very personal and well designed the way I wanted it to be. Well, Grace have really done a great job in patching up all the details and information I gave to her. I was really amazed on how she did it. The best thing that I really loved to see in this banner is the certificate below the Philippine flag. hehe I told Grace to put something in the banner that will describe my dream of being a Certified Public Accountant someday, but I never thought of a certificate. Nice one! And of course, one of the best reason is that because it is free. : )
So, how’s my banner for an almost free deal?? ![]()
