I was browsing to pinoy bloggers’ blogs when I landed on an article containing this very catchy banner. I thought it was just made by the author of the blog, but as I continue reading the article I found out that this is the name of a somewhat advertising network. Actually the term “advertising network” doesn’t really fit to describe the services they provide. The idea is really great. For Sale By Publisher (FSBP) opens a gateway wherein publishers and advertisers meet. The main difference between this program to PPC programs and other advertising scheme is that For Sale By Publisher is not really a part of the transactions. There services is limited to posting your website to their directories for advertisers to see, and that’s it. No commission charges, no other fees required. Everything is free upon sign up. In short, For Sale By Publisher helps publishers sell their ad space to willing advertisers by providing the latter all the necessary information to complete the transaction. And all of these happen for free.
This image sets the best description FSBP has provided for all the publishers and advertisers. Easily understood isn’t it? The program is still at its initial stage and as I look at the statistics, there are only 397 registered users and 276 websites in their directories as of this date, which I think is still a very limited number. Another thing is that free-hosted blogs can’t really apply for the program, like blogspot.com and wordpress.com. Why? FSBP requires the publisher to upload a specific file to their webhost file manager, which is really impossible for free-hosted blogs to do. Free-hosted subdomains who have a little control to their DNS may do the trick, but I guess it’s better to have your own domain when registering to this program because advertisers might just ignore free-hosted subdomains.
This program offers another means to monetize your website. Registering is free, so why won’t you try giving it a shot.
Good Luck to us!!
