Extending My Traffic Sources

During the previous days, I’ve been busy joining and participating social community networks like Facebook, LinkIn and Twitter. To be honest, I’m just very curious on what makes people love these social networks, so I thought of trying it out. Although I’m into Friendster a long time ago, I never considered using it to increase my blog’s traffic. But since bloggers from Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter are making good testimonials on how great these networks in bringing them traffic, I’ve considered extending my traffic from those sources.

I honestly didn’t get the grasp on how Facebook will increase my traffic, so I didn’t push through it. Regarding LinkedIn, wew! I almost forgot my primary purpose in joining the network, though in a positive way. I was amazed on the service of LinkedIn, it’s like connecting me from people who studied in the same school that I have graduated in. What really surprised me is that my school is in their database. I was surprised to see PSBA in their college schools’ list. : )

About Twitter, well this is where I’m actively participating in. I actually installed a wp plugin in my two blogs to keep my twitter account always updated, which is really very cool. That got me a number of followers. I “tweet” about anything I can think of, promote whatever I wanted to promote, and get some considerable results. To make it short, I share all of my nonsense to the Twitter community, what a great feeling. LOL

Earlier this week, I joined another social community network called 3GBiz. The community is quite young though, but I think this will bring some interest. In the network, you can chat with other community members in real time, which is really good in keeping in touch. Yes, the chat system works very similar with Yahoo’s chatrooms. Also, you can upload your photo albums and mp3s there, and listen to the mp3s submitted by other members. Works like friendster and myspace, but with a little twist. Give it a try. In all social community networks that I belong, I’ll give all the praise to Twitter, that’s in terms with the traffic it brings to my blogs. But regards to the functionality and services, I’m LinkedIn, hands down!!
